lined up today. I see you met my girl.”
I smile over at them briefly before rushing from the stage, happy to get out of the way. I don’t want to hear about business or anything else for that matter. Making my way to the bar, I see a hallway off to the left and head down it.
Even though I have no plans on partaking in the activities that take place in the private rooms, I still want to see them for the hell of it. I push open the first door and shake my head in disbelief. There is a pole mounted in the left corner of the room, a red leather chair perched in the center. A counter lines the back wall, a very nice iPod station centered on it. Wow, this place is definitely higher class than what I am used to.
I make my way down the hall, checking out each of the rooms one by one. Each are laid out similarly, complete with poles and iPod stations in each, but it is when I reach the last room on the left that my jaw drops. The room is three times larger than the others. It contains the same fixtures as the others with a few additions. On the farthest wall is an open shower. Brightly polished brass fixtures come out of the wall and the showerhead is centered in the ceiling above, surrounded by lights.
The leather chair in the center of the room swivels, so the client can turn to whatever position he deems necessary. And it reclines fully, another added bonus. But it is the heart shaped bed to the right that sets this room apart. Mirrors line the ceiling over it, and the purpose of this room is obvious I can only imagine how much a client would have to pay for use of this one.
“Nice, isn’t it?” I startle at the sound of Paul’s voice behind me.
    “Yeah,” I breathe, turning around.
“You and I could have a lot of fun in this room,” he says, wrapping his arms around me. “That shower, I can think of lots of ways to make you scream my name in there.”
“Is that so?” I ask, smirking at him. “And all this time I thought you liked me for my mind.”
“There are many things I like about you, Lana. Your mind, your sense of humor and your smart mouth. But what I can’t get enough of is that body. The way you work that pussy on my cock. The way you take every inch of me into that luscious mouth, sucking the come right out of me. The way you work your clit when I’m buried deep in that ass. Those are the things dreams are made of, what I love about you. And you’re all mine, every fuckin’ inch of you.”
I step back, looking up at him with a perplexed look. Paul and I have been more intimate recently, but it was just sex, or at least that’s what I had thought. We were fulfilling one another’s needs physically, not emotionally.
“Don't look at me that way Lana,” he warns. “It’s just a word,” he says, pulling me to him once again. Taking in a deep breath, I begin to calm. It is just a word, a word that holds no meaning.
“So, is this place kick ass or what?” he asks, pulling away.
“It’s definitely not what I’m used to.” That’s an understatement. As far as strip clubs go, this is top of the line.
“We’re both gonna be raking in the money here,” he says, looking around the room. “Hawk’s coming down for opening night. He thinks this place will bring in at least triple what The Lap Room did.”
“No doubt. Have you hired any girls yet?”
“A few, but that’s what Deuce is here for. We have several auditions lined up though. You want to stick around and help?” he asks, smirking at me.
“No, I think I’ll leave that to the two of you. I’m gonna freshen up real quick and head back to the apartment and get to unpacking.” It’s not like we have a hell of a lot to unpack, but I want to knock it off my list.
“Alright, baby. I’ll see you when I get there,” he says, kissing me briefly on the lips before leaving me alone in the room.
As I leave the club, I have a good feeling about this place. Things are starting to look up for us and before long, maybe I can
