Faith (My Misery Muse)
my bedroom then to my en suite bathroom. I turned
the water on and stripped out of my clothes. I climbed into the tub
and squirted some body wash into my hand and reached down and
grabbed my aching cock. I started thinking of Mags' face when she
came, her eyes glassy, screaming my name. I stroked my cock three
times before I came, damn near collapsing. God, I needed to fuck
that woman and soon before my balls turned permanently
blue.
I finished washing after I was able to stand
without using the shower wall for support, climbed out and wrapped
a towel around my hips. I walked into my room searching for some
clothes. “So how long you need to stay, Sam?”
“Not sure yet, someone is staying at my place
right now.”
“Whatever, as long as you need.”
    “Thanks, Drake,” he yelled back.

Chapter 15
    Mags
    Devi was planning an impromptu
party for X since his had passed while they were on tour, as well
as Christmas Eve dinner. I was packing Quinn to go over and help
Devi out, when there was a knock on the door.
I figured it was Drake, we hadn’t talked
since he ran out of here yesterday, and I had no idea what was
going on between us.
I juggled Quinn into a better spot on my
shoulder and went to open the door, when I did, there was a man I
didn’t know standing there. “Can I help you?”
    “Margaret Sands?” he asked.
“Yeah, can I help you?” I asked again getting
nervous.
He handed me a piece of paper, said, “You’ve
been served,” then turned and walked away.
“Hey what is this?” I yelled, but he kept
walking, ignoring me.
“What the hell?” I muttered and went back
inside.
I put Quinn in her bouncy chair
and strapped her in, then opened up the papers and nearly fainted
Brent was suing me for slander and loss of wages.
    “ WHAT.THE.FUCK!” I
yelled.
I stood there reading the papers over and
over. That prick was suing me? Oh hell no.
I picked up Quinn, strapped her into her car
seat and headed over to Devi’s house. This required wine—lots of
it.
I walked into Devi’s house yelling before the
door closed. “Devlin, where are you?”
“Seth, calm the fuck down!” I heard her
yelling from the living area.
I noticed that the mirror that was in the
entryway was broken and a smashed vase lying on the ground with
pieces of the mirror.
“What the fuck?” I said to myself.
I walked into the living area to find a very
pissed off Seth.
“I won’t calm the fuck down, Dev. He hurt MY
son, had MY wife arrested, and now he’s fucking suing me, I don’t
god damn fucking think so.”
I sucked in a startled breath. I had never
seen Seth this pissed off before, and it was my fault. My fault
that Brent was in that room in Seattle, my fault Jaks was hurt, my
fault he was fired, and my fault that he was being sued.
    “I’m sorry,” I whispered.
Devi turned to look at me. “Oh I don’t
fucking think so. None of this is your fault, it’s that asshat’s
fault. So stop right there, I can only deal with one freak out at a
time,” she snapped.
    I nodded.
“Seth, go get a fucking beer, calm down and
you can discuss it when everyone else gets here.”
Seth stomped out of the room. “Well guess I’m
not the only one that’s being sued today, huh?”
    “What are you talking about?”
I handed her the papers I was still holding,
then set down Quinn's car seat and pulled her out.
She inhaled. “I am going to fucking castrate
that prick,” she muttered to herself, then glanced at me. “He said
nothing about her.”
    “Yeah, I noticed that too.”
“It’s Friday night and Christmas Eve, so on
Monday we will call the lawyer that’s handling her paternity
case.”
    “Okay,” I said.
“We will get this straightened out,
okay?”
The front door slammed and a pissed off Sam
and Drake walked in. Devi pointed towards the kitchen. “Beer, go
now, I don’t want to hear it.” Sam nodded then he and Drake marched
towards the kitchen.
“Fuck this is going to be a fun day,”
