didn’t already, did you?”
“Well . . . Cory came over last night and, uh, let’s just say things escalated pretty darn quickly.”
“Ooh get it, girl! I can’t believe you didn’t tell me. I want to hear all about your night,” she exclaimed.
I laughed. “Thanks for the packing advice, Jess.”
    “Hey! Don’t change the subj—”
I cut her off. “I’ll see you tomorrow,” I said right before I hung up the call.

Chapter 23
    Sam
It felt like we’d been driving forever. On either side of the two-lane highway, endless acres of sand stretched as far as the eye could see. The monotony was only broken up by the occasional cactus or abandoned shack. I stared out and watched the desert landscape pass by through the passenger window.
Cory reached over and laced his fingers with mine. “We’re almost there.”
I turned to him and smiled. “I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that before,” I said sarcastically.
He let out a deep laugh. “Well, yeah, last time we weren’t really almost there, but now we are.”
“Uh huh, I’ll believe it when I see it,” I teased. His fingers squeezed my hand tighter.
Finally, about thirty minutes later, we pulled up to a campsite where a big black truck, with a long white trailer attached to the back, was parked. I saw Jessie step out from a door in the side of the trailer and she waved at us with a big smile on her face. Cory parked the truck and we both climbed out.
Jess immediately ran over to greet us. “Hey guys! So glad you could make it.” She pulled me in for a quick hug. She glanced over to Cory. “Josh is in the trailer, he’s getting ready to pull the bikes out.”
“I’ll go give him a hand,” Cory said as he walked away.
Jessie turned back to me. “So!?” she practically squealed. “I’m pretty sure you’ve got an interesting story to share with me.” Her face was pleading with me for details.
I laughed. “Not sure about a story, but I can assure you that none of it was disappointing. And you know how people like to tease guys with big trucks about driving ‘compensation vehicles’? Well, I now know that Cory is definitely not compensating for anything.”

Chapter 24
    Cory
Sam hopped down out of the trailer. She looked adorable in the jersey I’d brought for her to wear. Her tiny frame was practically swimming in the fabric, but I loved seeing her in my shirt. I started the engine on the four-wheeled quad and waved her over. I took the helmet from her hand and slipped it on over her head and adjusted the buckle. She pulled her goggles into place and looked up at me.
I pointed toward the right grip. “Okay, now this is the throttle. To give it gas you just need to twist the handle back like this.” I twisted the grip and the motor revved in neutral. I let off the gas and pulled back the brake levers. “These are your brakes. Make sure not to pull them too fast or hard. We don’t want you going over the bars.”
She shook her head side to side. “I definitely don’t want to do that.”
I told her a few other key things, and she nodded along with my quick lesson. “That’s all there is to it. The transmission is automatic so you don’t need to worry about shifting gears.” I patted the blue vinyl seat. “Hop on.”
Sam swung her long, thin leg over and pulled her feet up on the pegs. I couldn’t help but smile at how good she looked riding that thing. Although, I could think of something I’d rather have her riding. I shook the image of Sam riding my cock the morning before from my head.
I bent down next to her helmet so she could hear. “We’re going to take it nice and easy, just follow me.” I headed over to my bike and got on.
We’d been riding for a few miles, and Sam was keeping up just fine. I glanced at her over my shoulder. She was a natural. The sand dunes that surrounded us were peaceful, and suddenly I wanted nothing more than to take a break and relax for a few minutes. We rode over the top of another
