He shouted something sexy and guttural, slowing
his thrusts, his cock pulsing deep inside her pussy. Finally he stilled,
collapsing on top of her.
“When I can move again, remind me to say thank you,” he uttered
into the curve of her throat, whispering a kiss there.
“As far as I’m concerned, you can stay right here forever,”
she said, wrapping him up in her arms to hold him steady.
Gradually, Remy’s erection softened and he slid out of her.
Taking a second to remove his spent condom and deposit it in a small receptacle
in the wall of drawers and television, he finished cleaning himself up with
some tissues from her travel pack and did the same for her before tossing the
wet wipes into the trash bin.
Crawling back up the bed, he reclined, gathering her into
his arms and bringing her head to rest upon his chest, her face close to his
yin and yang tattoo. Whispering a kiss upon the ink, she wondered what would
happen to the two of them when they reached Dare.
Would there be enough paranormal activity for Remy to use in
his show? Would it help him expand into broader markets? Would she lose him if
he became an even bigger celebrity?
And somewhere in there, she couldn’t help wonder if they’d
meet Ransom Hunter, if they’d even know it if they stumbled over him. Was he
one of the town’s investors, the men Avery told them about, the ones they had
to convince to allow Remy to investigate?
“What are you thinking about?” he asked, his voice quiet,
relaxed, while his hand stole up her back and nestled in the length of her
hair.
“Us, Ransom Hunter, Dare, paranormal activity,” she
answered, wanting to be completely honest with him.
“That’s a lot to think about. Sugar, is there a chance I’m
going to lose you to this author you admire so much?”
Pushing up off his chest, she looked him square in the eye,
loving his handsome face and his black and red hair. He was an incredible man,
gifted, admitted his faults and still very much missed his little brother.
It was evident in the tattoo on his shoulder, the same ghost
he used as his logo. It was friendly, youthful and not a bit frightening, yet
there was a hint of sadness because Blair had died so tragically.
“Remy, I’ve been yours for a very long time,” she answered,
offering her heart the only way she could. “That’s not going to change, no
matter what happens when we reach Dare.”
“Thank you,” he said. “Now that you’re mine, Eve, I’m not
planning on letting go anytime soon.”
“Then hold on tight, rest up and make love to me again.”
“I will as soon as I’m able,” he promised, drawing her head
back to his chest.

Chapter Four

Remy held onto Eve, for a moment, fearful he’d wake up from
a dream only to discover himself alone in his bed. But his worries were chased
away when she curled her body into his, tossed her leg across his thighs and
sighed.
Ever since his fiascos with Beth, and later with Kurt and
Sharon, he’d guarded his heart. He’d dated, at times he’d had multiple sex
partners, but he hadn’t wanted to repeat his mistakes with anyone he truly
cared about.
Foolish as he’d been with Eve, he was actually glad they’d
talked and she knew about his past. There was more to tell her, little things,
big ones. The important thing was opening up a line of communication so that if
he did something wrong, they could nip it in the bud.
He honestly didn’t know if he could curb his bisexuality.
He’d meant it. He couldn’t turn it off, and bottoming for a man while Remy
fucked a woman was a private kink. There weren’t many women willing to share
their men that way.
Even though Eve expressed her willingness to explore sex
fantasies, actually engaging in ménages or exploring some of his kinks could be
scary. And now that he had the most beautiful woman alive locked in his arms,
he couldn’t imagine letting her go.
“Eve,” he said, stroking his hand through her long hair. It
was incredibly
