experienced by their latest volunteers.
She was starving and exhausted, but excited. Soon, women would have access to a pill that would make climaxing virtually guaranteed if her partner could move his hips. Low sex drive, lack of desire or arousal would become a thing of the past for the woman willing to take the drug her team had joking named “Vitamin P for Pleasure”.
Nisa squeezed her thighs together. She couldn’t stop thinking about the moans of pleasure Patient C had been unable to hold back. The woman and her lover had left with huge smiles, both wanting to know the timeframe to expect the drug on the market. Nisa couldn’t give them one. There was still a lot of red tape to cut through before Vitamin P would be available to the public. The couple’s disappoint had been palpable, but extending an invitation for them to participate in the trial again had brought back the twinkle in their eyes.
The truth was Nisa had a personal and professional interest in the success of Vitamin P. She wanted to experience amazing sex and multiple orgasms. Her love life suffered because of her work. Outside the lab, she was socially awkward, and she could count the number of lovers she’d taken to bed on one hand. She was tired of wondering if she was even capable of climaxing with a cock. After witnessing the pleasure each woman in the clinical trial had experienced alone and with partners, she’d been tempted to try the damn drug herself.
“Totally against protocol,” Nisa muttered to herself as she let out a deep sigh.
She stood up and stretched her stiff legs, conscious of her wet panties. Her designer wet panties. Despite her lackluster sex life, she enjoyed dressing up in ultra-feminine lingerie beneath her conservative clothing and lab coat. Today, she’d chosen a beautiful lacy bra and panty set in a bright shade of red that looked amazing against her brown skin. Wearing sexy lingerie was a private thrill, and it made her feel like a woman…a sexy, desirable woman.
    That no man desires.
Her last official date had been almost eight months ago, and they hadn’t even made it to the bedroom.
Nisa mentally pushed her cryptic thoughts aside as her stomach growled. She walked toward the lab doors and sighed again. She should’ve told Ryce to bring her back a bag of pretzels.
Her modest heels clicked on the linoleum floor as she stepped into the hallway and walked toward another set of doors leading into the vending machine area. The sound of Ryce and Eric laughing could be heard in the hall. Nisa placed her hand on the sliding door and pushed it open a little bit with a smile on her lips. She loved to hear both men laugh.
Laughter turned to low voices, and Nisa paused to listen to her colleagues.
“I think it’s kinda interesting how committed Nisa is to the success of this clinical trial.”
Nisa froze upon hearing her name. She didn’t have to see Eric to know he was the one talking.
“Why? Nisa’s committed to everything she does.”
Eric laughed. “True. C’mon you know why…she’s like asexual or something.”
    “She’s our colleague—”
“And you’re not going to talk about her,” Eric finished.
“Correct. We only see one side of Nisa. I’m sure she’s got a life outside this lab just like we do.”
Eric snorted. “I don’t. I bet she sleeps in that lab coat.”
Ryce laughed. “She’s not that boring.”
Nisa sucked in a tight breath and stepped away from the door with tears blurring her eyes. She stumbled back down the hallway and into the sanctuary of the lab. Refusing to cry, she flopped down into her chair at her desk, took off her glasses, and grabbed a tissue to blow her nose.
    She felt ill.
Ryce and Eric were her closest friends, and they thought she was boring…some kind of sexual freak.
    Asexual.
    That’s what Eric had said.
    Maybe she was.
A stray tear slipped down her check, and Nisa dashed it away with a shuddering breath as she tossed her glasses on the
