couldn’t happen. Not know, not without her consent.
Pushing his mind forward, he locked his gaze on Jinger’s and started pounding into her, claiming her on the only level he could.
Jinger felt the first cascade of electricity shower over her as her world exploded in a screaming orgasm. She felt herself straining trying to catch every tiny ounce of pleasure, she held her breath as her pussy clamped down around Wyatt’s cock.
Wyatt pinned her to the bed, pushing deeper and deeper, pushing her knees to her chest to find that sweet spot inside her.
When he did, Jinger couldn’t help but drag her nails down his back at the sweet torture he was inflicting.
Wyatt’s bear growled at the pain on his back, reveling in the bloodletting. It was more than enough for him to feel the hard power of his own orgasm spin through him. He sank himself into her and let the first spurt of hot cum coat the inside of his mate. He felt jet after jet pour out of him. He’d never come that hard before and he couldn’t help but hope Jinger would get pregnant tonight.
As his heart slowed, he showered her with kisses. Rolling to his side, he wrapped her in his arms and promised in his heart to never let her go.

Chapter 12

It took longer than Jinger wanted to admit to recover from lovemaking with Wyatt. Her body felt limp and she wanted nothing more than a donut and a nap.
Wyatt hadn’t stopped touching her, caressing her like he hadn’t spent the last hour touching her body. If Jinger had to guess, he was trying to memorize it.
As she lay on the rumpled sheets, her body cooling, she came to a horrible realization.
    “Oh shit!”
“What’s wrong? Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” Wyatt asked in a panic, his eyes scanning her for unseen injuries.
“We didn’t use a condom! I always use a condom. I’m not on any birth control Wyatt!” she shrieked.
“Jinger, calm down. There isn’t anything we can do about it now. And so what if you get pregnant. I’m not going anywhere. Besides my mom would be thrilled,” he said laying back down with a laugh.
Jinger didn’t want to be calm. She’d let her desire for Wyatt cloud her judgment and all of a sudden she felt very foolish. And Wyatt’s casual response to such an epic fuck up only made her feel worse. She needed to leave and hide and reevaluate her life choices.
“Wyatt, could you please take me back to my car? I’d like to go home.”
“What? Why? Jinger did I do something wrong?” Wyatt sputtered sitting up and leaning over her, pinning her to the bed.
“No, everything was great. It’s just time for me to go home,” she couldn’t keep the tinge of regret out of her voice and she knew Wyatt heard it.
Running his hand through his hair, Wyatt tried to figure out how things had changed so fast. He was laying there in bliss. His mate wrapped in his arms. The best sex he’d ever had. Even his damn bear was contentedly chuffing.
“Jinger, talk to me. Why do you want to leave? Is it something I said? Something I did?”
“No, it’s not you. I’m feeling...” Gawd, she didn’t want to admit it. Freaking out about a possible pregnancy was the best way to throw a bucket of ice cold water on what was a very steamy interlude. Something also told her, she might hurt his feelings telling him the truth.
“I had a great time, Wyatt. Really, but I’m a little overwhelmed and feeling a little self-conscious at the moment. I’d feel better if I got home tonight and we could plan a date later.”
She really hoped he accepted her excuse and she could get back home and beat herself up in private for her stupidity. She could only imagine what her mother would say if her normally level-headed daughter admitted hopping into the sack with a man she met the day before and having hot steamy sex with him without protection. She’d leave the hot steamy part out, but the point still stands.
“Are you giving me the brush off,” he asked a little angrily.
    “NO! Really,
