said trying to cover it up.  She knew it was stupid to try to hold anything back from Chelsea, who always found out or she eventually told her.
Chelsea crossed her arms over her chest and gave Jadelyn her I-am-not-buying-whatever-you’re-trying-to-sell me look.
Jadelyn blew out a deep breath when she noticed the look in Chelsea’s eyes.  “Okay, look, we mated, alright.  I have to tell you something more important.  Shit, I actually felt my wolf inside me today.  She was so powerful and trying to break out to mate with Eli’s wolf.  I was having a hard time controlling her and the only time she was content was when I was touching Eli.  It got worse over time,” Jadelyn said.  She knew she was going to tell Chelsea.  She only said the other stuff to build her courage up enough to say what she really wanted to.
“So you guys mated, huh?” Chelsea said with a grin on her face.
“Out of all the things I said, that is the one thing your mind is stuck on,” Jadelyn said as she rolled her eyes at Chelsea.
“So tell me , how it was?” Chelsea asked even though she knew Jadelyn wouldn’t go into any kind of details.  She just wanted to see Jadelyn blush and squirm a little—which she did.
“Ha, in your dreams, chica,” Jadelyn said with a smile on her face, which soon turned into a full-on laugh.
Chelsea wrapped one arm around Jadelyn’s shoulders as they continued to laugh on their way to find their seats.
Ace and Eli headed straight to the snack bar while Chelsea and Jadelyn went to pick out their seats.  They found where the girls sat without having to look for them.  They sat in the exact same spot as they always did when they were younger.
Eli handed Jadelyn her favorite candy before he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close.  Jadelyn laid her head on his shoulder just as the movie started.
After the movie was over, they made their way outside of the theater.  “How about you and Jadelyn ride with us tomorrow night to the battle?  Just in case you’re tired after the battle is over.”  Eli agreed with Ace as he and Jadelyn climbed onto his bike.
Ace and Chelsea followed Jadelyn and Eli to his grandmother’s house, so they could help Eli pack some of his clothes to stay at the Alpha’s house and then talk to his grandmother, who was waiting in the driveway for them with a smile on her face when they arrived.
“Took you guys long enough,” Eli’s grandmother said as they all walked through her garage where she was waiting.
Eli smiled and hugged his grandmother. She was always waiting for him in the garage when he came to her house before he knew he was coming there.  “Grandma, you shouldn’t be waiting out here for hours for me,” Eli said.
She just smiled and directed them into the house, Eli’s grandmother would never tell him she was only in the garage for a few seconds before they arrived.  She always liked to pretend she was waiting for hours or minutes instead of seconds.
Eli wanted to be able to tell his grandmother something just one time without her already knowing about it.  She always knew everything before it happened, and was waiting for him with everything he needed when he walked in her house.  Sometimes her being a wolf gypsy was a good thing for Eli, while others times, it was dreadful.
Eli’s mind went back to the time his grandmother caught him and Jadelyn before they could sneak out of the house when they were ten.  They were trying to sneak out of the house and head to the frozen pond after their parents had forbidden them from going alone, especially at night.
Eli and the others had to hurry and gather his stuff out of his room in his grandmother’s house, since his grandmother had a private reading with a client from the hyena clan scheduled any minute now.  No one could be in the house during the meeting since it was private and only meant for his grandmother and her client to hear.  He hugged his grandmother and told her he
