the corner and noticed them as they entered. A few minutes went by and one came out smiling on his phone from what Tiffany could hear he was talking to a bitch. “Her father must got the young guns to watch over her.” Tiffany said to herself and then felt at ease as she decided on taking the stairs down.

Finally reaching the parking garage she walked quickly to her car and began to jump in her feelings about Messiah. She thought her and Messiah had established a truce about being honest with one another. Right now Messiah wasn’t living up to it, but she knew it was her fault from jump being she shouldn’t have accepted Mallory’s drink. She shouldn’t have sent Messiah to meet with Mallory and damn sure should have sent the money back after she got sick. Tiffany figured if she had listened more and tamed her wild thirst for the fast life he would’ve told her about Mallory. Bleep Bleep. Her phone rung- it was Messiah. “Don’t you know we’re in the middle of a job? No phones.” She answered with an attitude.

“You better watch your fucking mouth T, where are you?” Messiah asked. Tiffany did something she never did with Messiah- rolled her eyes and as much as she loved him she hated dishonesty. “I know you hear me talking to you!” Messiah said.

“In the hospital parking garage I found out where this dude be at and I was coming to check with you.” She stated truthfully. Tiffany was really trying to do right by this job to make sure that her and Messiah were on the same page at all times.

“Come round the back I was about to start walking. I ain’t fucking with anymore buses.” Messiah said. Tiffany cranked the car up and pulled out. After paying the parking fee she whipped the corner and spotted Messiah. He jogged over to the car, hopped in, and then closed the door. Tiffany sped away from the hospital heading home she needed to shower.

“If we gonna be going two separate ways we need to go to the garage and get the Infiniti because I ain’t getting on another bus.” Messiah said.

Tiffany was rather quiet and wished Messiah would tell her the truth between the ride home so she wouldn’t have to make matters worse.

“What you get on dude?” Messiah asked.

“Um, he has a few traps he running and he looks like he getting his boys ready in case Mallory wants to retaliate. That’s about all I could see from those few minutes of riding.” Tiffany replied. “He called, so I’ll return his call and see what the deal is so we can get this over with.”

“Right, I’m ready for it to be over real soon too.” Messiah said rubbing her thigh. “Remember you promised me my month long rendezvous I’m looking forward to that shit, Love.” Tiffany smiled trying to mask the pain she felt inside. They pulled up to their duck out and hopped out. Neither of them expected to see Ms. Anna waiting. Tiffany gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek.

“What are you doing here? Why you didn’t call and say you were coming by?” Tiffany asked.

“Well if you would answer your damn phone maybe I would tell your assess.” Ms. Anna stated sarcastically.

    “I apologize.” Tiffany said.

“It’s pretty late what are you doing out?” Messiah asked.

“Checking on my babies.” She replied. The woman always did have motherly love for the two.

“It is appreciated.” Tiffany said going into the bathroom to run a shower placing her throwaway phone on the counter.

“I made the deposits today and it’s been suggested that we open another cleaners and franchise with the revenue that the cleaners is pulling in.” Ms. Anna informed her.

“What do we have to do?” Tiffany asked taking her shirt off. Ms. Anna was like a mother so seeing her naked wasn’t anything new.

“Buy another cleaners. It’s too much money being deposited and I’m doing a great job with the books making sure everything adds up, but soon it will be
