Sounds
really interesting. When are you looking at having us over?”
    “ Is
Sunday at nine pm good for you?”
    “ I
will confirm by tonight after I speak with my husband. My secretary
will give you a call in the morning to confirm.”
    “ Perfect
Mrs. Coverly. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your husband. I
know you are a busy woman so I won't take up any more of your time.
Have a fabulous day!”
    Shaun
was hesitant. He had heard about Camilla Alexis’s therapy and was
sure it would bring up some of my old demons.
    “ I
don't know honey. She does some pretty extreme things. Suppose it
reminds you of some stuff you went through? Won't that set us back
even further?”
    “ Shaun,
I'm a big girl. I don't see how one therapy session can be that big
of a deal!”
    “ Well,
I'm all for it. The amount of stress I suffer at work, I'm certain a
therapy session and then a steam in the sauna will be perfect for
me.”
    “ Great.
I will confirm with her in the morning and get the directions.”

    Chapter
2

    She
ran her Spa and Therapy Clinic from Venice beach. The complex was
ultra modern and very industrial looking, but the inside was an oasis
of relaxation. The receptionist and staff were all very sexy and this
was the first thing I observed. The uniform was that of ultra short
shorts and skin tight t shirts. Though scantily clad, they were all
professional and didn’t do the usual thing of staring when A list
clients walked in.
    As
we approached the desk, the receptionist smiled and called us by
name.
    “ Mr
and Mrs. Coverly! Welcome to Heal the Heart! How are you this
evening?”
    “ Hi,
we are doing well, Mrs. Coverly and I have a 9.30 appointment with
Camilla Alexis.”
    “ Certainly
Mr. Coverly, she will be right with you. May I offer you a beverage
of your choice?”
    “ That’s
a good idea. I will have a scotch on the rocks and Mrs. Coverly will
just have water. ”
    I
wasn’t big on drinking alcohol and Shaun new this. He on the other
hand enjoyed decadent beverages all the time.
    I
knew it wasn’t typical for people to drink just before a therapy
session, but in LA it paid to keep the elite happy at all costs; even
if it meant getting a little tipsy.
    Camilla
came down to meet us herself. She was a dramatic woman whose
personality had too much flair for me. Her exaggerated make up and
over bleached hair did not compliment her skin, which was severely
over tanned. Yet I couldn’t knock her abilities too much. She had
to be lauded for opening a business like this in times like these.
    She
greeted my husband first with a kiss on the cheek and then did the
same to me. Standing back, she admired my outfit, but declined to ask
the designer's name even though I could tell it was on the tip of her
tongue.
    Leading
us up to the office via an elevator, I noticed many mirrors
strategically placed everywhere. It seemed it was a place to force
introspection. Her office was more like a large bedroom with plush
furniture. A writing desk in the corner is where she sat while
directing us to the brightly colored daybed facing her.
    This
room had mirrors on every conceivable surface. Some were ornate and
other industrial looking, but somehow they came together to give the
room a pleasing aesthetic appeal.
    Every
time I looked at Camilla I saw someone who looked like they should be
on the cast of Golden Girls. Her suit was peach and although dated, I
could tell it was expensive. The white heels definitely broke the
labor day rule.
    Placing
her glasses on her nose, she looked down at her yellow legal pad and
then back up at us with a smile.
    “ Now
tell me, Mr and Mrs. Coverly what's been happening in your bedroom
since you have escaped your past situation?”
    No
one answered and the silence in the room was thick.
    “ Ok…
well, maybe I should be more specific. Since you have escaped the
life of sexual slavery, how are you dealing with your husband and
intimacy in the bedroom?”
    Her
question was targeted at
