She has no idea where she is.  There is no guarantee that she can find any civilization.  Worse, she may fall into the hands of that vicious reptilian ‘civilization’.   Their sharp teeth told her that she’s only a piece of fresh meat when being caught.
Oh, well, that won’t make a difference, right?   Die of coldness and hunger, or die of… being lunch.
It’s weird that the word lunch makes her feel so hungry.   I could probably eat an alien should I catch one at the moment.   She’s so amused by her unusual thought.   Maybe they’ll go down well with a bit of Teriyaki sauce? She’s never been a big Japanese sushi fan, but anything food is so tempting now. Anyway, Zaak told her once that lizards do taste like chicken.

She rolls to the door, pushing hard.  The door is now stuck to the ground.   Damnit, it won’t move.
Bonita looks at the crack on the top.  It’s too small to crawl through.  Maybe losing thirty five pounds will get me through?  Yeah, right, Bonita, you don’t have to do anything now to lose that much—or more.   She swallows hard to subdue the hunger.  There is no saliva at all.
She pushes the door again.   No luck.  She hits the door with her shoulder.  Still no luck.
Damnit! I’m going to die on this stupid, ‘most wonderful and absolutely fantastic planet you will have to see, Bonita’.   She’s not blaming Zaak at all.  In fact, she feel so good because Zaak is dying somewhere on the same planet too, right?
We’re together.  Oh, wow, this is absolutely wonderful.
Her mind drifts into her fantasy world again…

“Hello…” The voice is so remote.
“Mom?” Bonita is so pleased to see Mom.
    “Anybody there, hello?”
“Mom… it’s me, Bonita.”  She reaches to Mom for a hug but Mom steps away.   “Mom?”
    “Hello, are you alive?”
“What?  Mom, I am alive.  Yes.  See, I’m talking.  Mom... See…”  Bonita’s vision blurs.  She tries to open her eyes wider.
Now she can see… Hah?  A dinosaur?  Gosh!  A dinosaur is staring at her from the crack!
She closes her eyes right away.  I don’t want to be the lunch.  No, I swear I don’t.
Moments later, she opens her eyes slowly.  Good, the dinosaur is no longer there.  I’m safe now.
Her heart drops while a happy smile crawling onto her tiring face.  Goddamnit, this is my only opportunity to survive!
She no longer feels the pain and numbness; nor is she afraid of any carnivorous dinosaurs.  She screams with deafening high-pitch, kicking and banging on the deadly cold hull.  “Someone, come back, hello…  Oh, fuck!  Please, don’t leave!  You mother fucker, can’t you hear me?  I’m here, HERE!  I’m alive.  I promise I am! ”

Chapter One
Bonita is very impressed by their honeymoon destination— the beautiful planet Le Jura that her husband Zaak discovered during a military exploration.
It’s a planet covered by ice and water.  The nearest land to the surface is about four hundred and thirty miles below sea level.   A thick layer of ice encrusted the planet, reflecting light so evenly as to destroy almost any shadow. From far above, the Le Jura drifts like a silvery pearl in the dark ocean of deep space.
Rumor has it that the sands of the ocean floor are full of gold and diamond. Top scientists on their home planet of Caludirium have begged Zaak to send his submarines to make full exploration.
Until they can harvest samples for examination, the true composition of Le Jura’s sea bed will remain a mystery. Unfortunately, the exploration is not a military operation and will not be conducted in near future.

Although the planet swings between two suns, Le Jura’s orbit is far from either twin. At the surface, the weather is so cold that the large watery body is covered by a single, gargantuan ice cap.
And yet, water flows. As if by magic, active underwater volcanoes send enough heat to melt over two thirds of
