floods your being. In your mind’s eye, picture your whole self glowing. You have become the rod of power—so mote it be!
    The Aura Flush
The name for this exercise began as a joke, but then the more I taught the method to people, the more the joke stuck—and thus to this day I still call it the aura flush.
Centre yourself. Visualise and feel your aura around your physical being. See it glowing in whichever colour you like. Then, once this is established, consciously expand your aura until it fills the room you are in. If you are outside, go as far as you possibly can or until you feel the need to stop. Now gather up all of the light and concentrate it just above your head in the form of an orb. This is where the “flush” part comes in. Visualise/feel the light travelling swiftly and cleanly down the front of your body, underneath your feet, up the back of your body, and then over your head. Keep the light circulating like this for as long as you like. Then, when it strikes you, take a spark of the flush and create one that circulates around the sides of your body (laterally, so to speak). As the light flows, focus on the intention to purify and cleanse your being.
As you are concentrating on your aura circulating around your physical being, you are also activating and cleansing the other energetic/psychic layers of your being, not to mention clearing out the emotional and mental aspects as well.
When you feel the work has been done, simply let your aura become as it is naturally, and ground your awareness in the physical reality once more.
    Psyballs
One of my favourite things to do when I first started experimenting with energy work was to create psyballs. A psyball is a concentrated orb/sphere/ball of psychic power that is shaped through visualisation and kinesthetic sensation and imbued with particular emotions or thoughtforms. They are useful as spell-containers, which are then absorbed back into the aura for later use or placed elsewhere (somewhere memorable and psychically safe). They can also be harnessed to cast quick and effective spells when in a hurry. The following method is the one that works for me, and it is also the one I teach others; however, as with anything, feel free to adapt and personalise it to your own tastes.
Ground and centre. Gather up and call in as much energy you feel intuitively you will need to create a psyball. Visualise and feel the psyball (colour, texture, weight, etc.) you want to create as you do this. Now hold your hands (at whichever height you wish) as if you were holding a ball or sphere. Place the visualisation of the psyball between your hands, and begin to channel and direct the flow of energy into your hands. You are now energetically and psychically creating the psyball. As you direct the flow of energy, also take time to visualise your desired outcome if using the psyball for spellcraft (for immediate or later use), and inject the psyball with the necessary emotion/sensation/thoughtform for the work. However, if you are just experimenting and playing with energy, then keep the energy pure. Either way, make sure that you fill the psyball with as much energy as you can until it feels like it might burst! Then twist your hands around a few times and seal the psyball so that it doesn’t leak or disperse. Affirm that the psyball is real and ready. You can now throw or pass the psyball to someone else (if you are working in a group situation) or play with it on your own. Prod and poke it and do whatever you like; this is your psyball to experiment with! If the psyball is for spellcraft, then either absorb it into your auric skin for later use or release it into the ether to do its work. You can do this by throwing the psyball into the air in whichever direction you choose and releasing the power.
