good.
Yes, it does. Yes, it does.
We sat in the thatch of leaves and grass, holding each other until the moon was directly over us and a loud howl could be heard a few yards away.
A howl was like a voice; you could distinguish the person from it. Fucking Hunter.
We dressed fast and got into our vehicle. I knew I was in Wolfe Creek, but didn’t realize that Hunter would be out with Catherine.
“Oh my, do you think they saw us?”
“It’s possible, but maybe they were just roaming their area and decided to enjoy the night. I’ll introduce you to them sometime this week.”
    “That’d be great.”

Chapter Fourteen
By the next morning, our house was crowded with visitors. Kane didn’t know if everyone would just show up, but it’s clear they all wanted to know what happened to him since he left a week ago. The first people to arrive were a young redhead with bright green eyes and a body similar to mine, maybe a little leaner, and she was with a tall, handsome man who was almost as giant as Kane.
“Carolyn, I’d like you to meet the real Arabella and Gage.”
Arabella rushed me and hugged as tightly as she could. “It’s so wonderful to meet you, Carolyn. The men were starting to outnumber the women. The odds are evening up.”
“Really, I could always go back to Wolfe Creek where I’m wanted,” Gage said.
“Oh, quit it. You’re so full of it. You aren’t going anywhere.”
“That’s because you won’t let me.” He smirked.
I thought you said they weren’t mated.
They’re not. They are really close. It’s the reason they knew to use Gage and Arabella because it’s obvious to everyone that they’re fated.
Oh. Well, I like these two much better than their imposters, I teased.
Thank heavens for that. He laughed and pulled me into his arms, squeezing me tight.
“Seriously, please stop with the mushy shit. Hunter and Chloe and their mates are always on each other. It’s annoying.”
“Only because it isn’t you getting laid. Your turn will come soon.”
“Not soon enough,” Gage grumbled to himself.
“Tell me about it,” Arabella said in a huff. Her pouty look was shared between them. I arched my brow because they were so cute. After Kane had explained the whole mating thing to me, I thought this wasn’t normal.
    It’s not normal.
We all gathered around for some breakfast that Arabella and I were cooking when in walked two more guests. Hunter and Catherine. Seeing them in person, I flushed immediately. From the look Catherine gave me, I knew they had to have seen us.
We all started talking and I could see that Cat was seriously pregnant, but still moving around like it was nothing. Once the meal was done being cooked and all the men set it up for us, four more guests arrived. The Wolfe Creek sheriff and his wife Chloe came in followed by Creed Holt and his wife. Everyone was introduced and I was glad Arabella told me to make more than I had planned. She stocked up the fridge for us yesterday before we came back. She wasn’t staying here, though, she’d been with Gage at Creed’s house.
Munching away, I was ravenous. It was like I hadn’t eaten in a long time. We ate before bed last night, but we woke up several times in the night for some hardcore loving.
“So, I thought you and your sister were identical twins,” Cat said.
“We are,” I answered with a confused look.
“But your boobs look so different than in the movie.”
I blushed from head to toe with embarrassment.
“Her sister has a no nudity clause,” Kane snarled.

Three days after we arrived, Kane held a meeting and a mini press conference in the small gym to introduce me as his wife and the Alpha’s right-hand woman. I thought I was going to catch some attitude, but I didn’t. Everyone was welcoming. From the youngest pup to the elders, I felt the respect. Within the first few months, I became the woman everyone came to with questions. It surprised me when it happened, but I knew it was my duty as
