peasant top. But it was her beautiful smile that captivated him. It always made him feel warm, like he couldn’t continue on with his day if he didn’t at least make her smile.
Then her eyes—he would often find himself thinking about when she looked at him, how he was unable to even get out any sort of verbal expression. Those hazel eyes of hers really did something to him that he hadn’t felt in years. Jeremy knew he looked like a complete idiot, coming in every day to the shop, just to say hello. But he really wanted to look at her. To see her smile, hear her voice, just to be in her presence was enough for him.
Now here he was, following up behind her like she was the queen bee and he was one of her drones. He stood in the doorway and saw her trying to reach up to the top shelf for something in a box. He was thankful that he came when he did, because as she was reaching into it, it suddenly tipped over just a bit. “Wait a minute let me help you with that!” Jeremy ran over towards her to push the box back onto the shelf a bit before the contents spilled out on top of her.
“Oh, thank you, I thought I could get it.”
He picked up the box, which was a bit heavy, with both hands and placed it on the counter. When she opened the box, Jeremy saw that there were some glass Mason jars and lids, stuff that was used for the sugar scrubs that Lily made.
“If you hadn’t been here, I probably would have had a bunch of glasses broken or got knocked upside the head with a jar or two. So, what are you up to today?”
Jeremy found himself staring at her while she picked out some of the jars from the box. “I came to see you.”
    “To see me,”
“Yes, I hope you don’t mind.”
“No, of course not, actually it’s rather nice seeing you coming to say hello.”
Jeremy smiled at the compliment, “Well, I’ve always been attracted to beautiful things as well as a beautiful woman.”
She chuckled. “So, you think I’m beautiful huh?”
    “Don’t you think so?”
“Of course I do, I just like it when someone else says it,” she joked.
That’s when Jeremy moved in closer.
Now, she gazed over at him with those beautiful eyes while they stood side by side.
“I think you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve seen in a very long time.”
“I bet you say that to all the girls you run across.”
“Not really, only the ones I show interest in.”
“And I seem to be the one you’re interested in, huh?”
“That you are ma’am, for quite some time you’ve peaked my interest.”
“Do you say this to every woman employed by you?”
He looked around. “We don’t normally have pretty girls working here. So, I have to say that you are the one and only woman who I can say for a fact is beautiful, next to my mom of course.”
“Of course…” Pamelia giggled. “…You can’t forget about mom.”
He found her laugh to be so cute. It was music to him. He then decided to go one step further as he cornered her against the work table and they stood eye to eye. When Jeremy gazed into those eyes, he thought she might be scared off by his sudden action, but she wasn’t. It seemed like she was waiting for him to make the next move. Jeremy ached for months now to make that move. He’d anticipated a moment like this, having her alone in a room but his dream was of them in a bed together. Jeremy moved closer to her, inhaling the scent of her hair which smelled of coconuts as he heard her breathing heighten a bit.
“What if Lily comes in?” she asked
    “I doubt it,” Jeremy replied.
“You never know because she might.”
He really wasn’t paying any attention to her voice he was just enjoying how wonderful she felt against him. His cheek rubbed softly against hers, hearing her softly sigh against his ear. “Do you mind me being this close to you?”
Pamelia put her hands on his chest. “We better stop Jeremy.”
Then as quickly as he had her in his grasp, she pushed him away.
    “I’m
