glasses.”
    “You don’t need
them?”
    “I do. I usually take
my contacts out at night when no one’s around.”
    “If you really need
them, then wearing them is hot. So’s the beard. And that little bit of chest hair peeking out
is doing it for me to, if I’m being honest.”
    My boldness is rewarded
with a big smile, and an even bigger kiss. “Please be honest
tonight. I want everything to be as perfect as possible for you.”
    “You need to do the
same.”
    “It’s a deal. Are
you ready for part one of our date?”
    “More than ready.”
He leads me to a couch,
and I see all of the fun snacks he’s laid out on the table in front
of it. “I know that stuff’s from before we would’ve gone on a
date, but it fits the year the movies I picked were released.”
    “There’s never
anything wrong with Pop Rocks, or Now and Later candies. I’d love
to hear about these movies, though.”
    “Sit back, and I’ll
start the first one. I’m taking a chance that you like it. I
remember watching it and thinking it was cool.”
    We both sit, and he
dims the lights before putting his arm around me. Then he uses the
remote to start the movie. “Oh my God, Real
Genius ! I love this movie.”
    “I had a feeling.”
    I snuggle in closer to
him, and toss some popcorn in my mouth. This date is definitely
starting out right. We laugh and kiss throughout most of the movie,
and then he turns on Weird
Science . I tease him about only wanting to see then create
the “perfect” woman.
    “The perfect woman
for me is in my arms right now.”
    We don’t see much of
the movie as our kissing turns more passionate. I want to take things
further, but Blake stops me from taking his shirt off. “You don’t
want to.”
    “I do. But not here.
I want you in my bed.”
    “Let’s go,” I
say, standing and trying to pull him up with me.
    “The movie’s not
over.”
    “I’ve seen it a
bunch of times. I’ve been waiting twenty years to see you with all
of your clothes off. Are you really going to make me wait longer?”
    “No,” he says with
a laugh. “I was just trying to be a gentleman for a little bit
longer.”
    “I don’t need a
gentleman. I need you .”
    “Oh wow, you really
are impatient if you’re insulting me at this stage of the game.”
    “Blake,” I say,
practically growling his name. I won’t beg—yet—but I’m not
opposed to threats.
    “Scary Audrey is kind
of hot,” he tells me, throwing me over his shoulder. “Let’s
play.”

Chapter 8
    Audrey
    Blake carries me up a
back staircase, and down the hall to his rooms. He doesn’t stop
until he’s in front of his bed, and then he tosses me onto it. I
pop up to my knees and pull him down with me. I don’t care if it
makes me look desperate or needy, because I am both of those things
right now. Blake laughs against my mouth, and I smack his arm.
    “I’m not into pain,
Dree,” he tells me with a raised eyebrow.
    “Dree?”
    “Everyone else calls
you ‘Aud’ and I wanted something different.”
    “I like it.”
    “Good, because I like
you.”
    This time when I reach
for the hem of his shirt, he lets me pull it off. I suck in my
breath, because the view is even better than what I was expecting. He
has a light dusting of dark hair across his pecs, and forming a happy
trail between some well-defined abs. I want to lick those abs, and
bite them. I settle for running my hands over them for now.
    “My turn,” he says,
lifting my shirt over my head. “Gorgeous. You are so fucking
gorgeous.”
    He runs his knuckles
over the lace of my bra, making my nipples even harder. When he leans
over to suck one into his mouth, I think I see stars. I arch my back
as he reaches around to undo my bra, and I whimper as his mouth
leaves me. As soon as my bra’s gone, his mouth is back, giving my
other nipple the same attention.
    We keep it above the
waist for quite a while. I suck on his nipples, and get my chance at
those abs, but then it’s too much for both
